How to get from Arlanda Airport to Hasselbacken

The quickest way to get to Stockholm center from Arlanda is by the Arlanda Express train (http://www.arlandaexpress.com/). It only takes about 20 minutes and it will take you to Stockholm Central Station. Unfortunatley the fares are pretty high, 200 Skr per person. If you travel in company (two persons or more) it i usually possible to get reduced fares. Tickets are available at the vendor machines down at the platform.

A more moderate alternative is offered by the airport coaches (Flygbussarna). A one-way ticket is 95 Skr and the trip to Stockholm Central Station takes about 40 minutes.

Arlanda Express arrives at Stockholm Central Station If you wish to continue by cab when you arrive at the end station there is a taxi station just to the left of the platform, ap. 20 meters from where the train stops.	Flygbussen (The Airport Coach) arrives at Cityterminalen / Stockholm Central Station If you wish to continue by cab when you arrive at the end station there is a taxi station to the right of the bus stop.
The cab fares in Stockholm are high. The trip to Hasselbacken will cost you about 100-150 Sk. You don't have to tip the driver but it is common practice to give 15%. A more reasonable alternative is to go by city bus #47. The fare is 20 Skr and you can get the ticket from the bus driver. Be aware that the bus driver doesn't accept bills of higher value than Skr 100. (for other ways to buy a ticket, see Public transportation).

To get to bus no 47 from the train, follow the platform straight to the end and then walk through the doors.	To get to bus no 47 from the buses, walk to the right when you entered the City Terminal.

Pass through a small transit hall.	Go down the escalator and pass through a small transit hall.

	Take the exit to the left in the grand staton hall (as indicated by the yellow arrow).

	Leave the Central station.

	Walk straight ahead about 50 meters to the bus stop.

	Bus no 47 at the bus stop in the shade. Buses leave every ten minute - and even more often during daytime in the summer. It's a very poplar bus and it tend to be overcrowded at peak hours. The trip to ”Konsthallen / Gröna lund” takes about 15 minutes.
	In the front of the bus, where everybody can read it, hangs a display thet tells you the name of the next bus stop. When it says ”Konsthallen / Gröna lund” it's time to get off. This is a "busy" station (because of the amusement parks in the vicinity) and many passengers will leave the bus here.

	Cross the road to the left of the bus.

	Walk up the stairs.

	Welcome to Hasselbacken!
